Come Rain Or shine
This wasn't just another photoshoot for me, this one was special! This is my little brother Jonathan and his family, and by extension and connection, my family. Not only is it special because of my love for them, it's special because this is one of the last times I get to hang out with them for a long time. They live overseas and came in for a visit after a year and a half of being away. I titled this blog "Come Rain Or Shine" because this family has been through some amazing but challenging times (to say the least) and they have learned to handle everything life throws at them with grace, gratitude and a sense of adventure. They know how to make the sweetest lemonade out of the most sour lemons, and this photoshoot is a reminder of that. It rained the entire photoshoot, from beginning to end, and they arrived in good spirits with a "Hey, this will be fun" kind of attitude. And you know what, it was fun! It was my first photoshoot in the rain and probably will be one of my most memorable. We got some pretty amazing photos that we will cherish for a long time... at least until we meet again, make some more memories, and take a ton of pictures, again! We love and miss you all already!
